We wondered how WGCL’s owner Meredith allows their employees to plug companies on social media?
Well, it is not only happening in Atlanta.
WNEM (Flint) Anchor David Custer was using his social media to sell sweaters.
Yes, sweaters.
Station insiders say that the company that Custer is pimping is owned by him and his husband.
Meredith seems to have no problem with this practice of talent promoting outside businesses.
