Yesterday, FTVLive told you that despite not being seen on the station in quite a while, Meredith WGCL (Atlanta) had still listed main Anchor Alicia Roberts on the station’s website and included her picture on the “meet the team” page of the station.

We wrote, “Did the station forget to take it down after all these weeks? Is Roberts still employed? Is WGCL trying to make their on-air staff look bigger than it is? So many questions, so few answers.”

While Roberts’ bio had been on the station for months after she left the station, yesterday, shortly after FTVLive posted the story, WGCL went in and deleted her bio.

Did anyone from Meredith call or email to thank us?

Nope.

So much for gratitude.

BTW- it appears that Meredith has taken down the job listing for the Assistant News Director job at WGCL. No word if the gig has been filled, or who is getting it? But my advice to that person is to rent and not buy.
