Tegna to Hand Out Bonuses
Yesterday, after FTVLive called out Tegna and Meredith in a story about Scripps giving their employees bonuses, guess what?
Tegna decided to give their employees a $1000 one-time bonus.
You may remember just as the pandemic was getting started, Tegna decided to start furloughing their employees and docking them a week of pay.
Now, after raking in millions of dollars in political ads, Tegna is giving some of those employees a one-time bonus.
By the way, in the last quarter, Tegna brought in $738 million dollars in revenue. So yeah, they can afford it.
Funny how FTVLive put the Scripps story up yesterday and Tegna sent out a memo later that day.

Employees at Meredith are still waiting to see if their company will give them a bonus? I wouldn’t be holding my breath on that one.
