The staff at KCBS/KCAL just got an email from News Director Tara Finestone that said she is gone from the station.

Insiders say that Finestone was trying to stem the cuts at the CBS O&O, but CBS management was having none of it.

“The newsroom is falling apart - we're several producers down, reporters down - and everyone is doing double the work,” said one station insider that adding that this is all happening as they head into the November book and the elections.
