There is a mystery happening in one Seattle newsroom and even a number of employees at the station don’t know what is going on?

Longtime KIRO Reporter Kevin McCarty has not been seen on the air for weeks.

McCarty is the station’s Pierce County Bureau Chief, but station insiders say he’s been off the air and a check of his social media and you see he hasn’t posted anything in over a month.

“What's weird is that he's been listed on the schedules every week since Labor Day, yet he's not been at work since,” says a station staffer to FTVLive.

The staffer say that management hasn’t said anything and while there are a number of rumors, no one knows what is happening?
