CNN Benches Brooke Baldwin

It appears that CNN President Jeff Zucker does not think that a woman can handle the job and has passed it along to a man.

Brooke Baldwin took to Instagram to say that she is off the air at CNN and will be replaced by Jake Tapper until sometime after the election.

Here is a portion of that post:

When a viewer asked why she is taking so many weeks off, this was Baldwin’s reply:

A CNN insider tells FTVLive that they way this is being spun is that CNN boss Jeff Zucker wants to use Tapper who is based in DC, over Baldwin, who’s based in New York.

Huh?

What difference does it make as to which chair a host is sitting in?

We are in a pandemic, it’s not like Tapper will be sitting on the set with all kinds of different guests. So who cares where the hosts sit when the person that are interviewing is remote?

Did Zucker ask Baldwin if she wanted to move her show to DC for the next month, or did he just yank her for Tapper and that was that?

It seems that Jeff Zucker does not feel that a woman is good enough to tell the story. Look at CNN’s prime time and see how many women are hosting shows. The answer is zero.

Erin Burnett is slated in at 7 PM, the hour before prime starts, but after that, it’s a Jeff Zucker sausage fest.

When was the last time you saw Burnett highlighted or used in a CNN special? She has become the forgotten host at CNN.

How was Baldwin able to handle the election up until now, but she is not able to take it across the finish line in the last month?

Funny, she was there for the entire election in 2016. What has changed since then?

If Jeff Zucker doesn’t think that Baldwin can finish the race, then why is she will employed?

If he yanking her just because he wants a man to do the job, then it’s Zucker that needs to be replaced.

Just saying…
