Just over a month ago, FTVLive told you that Meredith’s WSMV (Nashville) Anchor/Reporter Alan Frio was told that his services were no longer needed and he was part of the layoffs the company was implementing at their stations.

Just a few days after Frio was told that he was being laid off, the station posted a job opening for an Anchor/Reporter.

Why did the station layoff and Anchor/Reporter, only to post that job just a few days later?

Also, the job opening that WSMV posted is a bit weird when it comes to the description and the “Essential Job Functions.”

I’m not sure if the job says you will spend 55% of you time anchoring, or if they just want to pay you 55% as much as they did Frio?
