Last month, FTVLive FIRST told you that Nexstar’s WOWK (Charleston, WV) main evening and night Anchor Jennifer Abney told management that she was not renewing her contract and was moving on.

We also FIRST told you that WOWK General Manager Sean Banks sent out a station-wide email announcing the new evening anchor before he ever (still hasn’t) announced that Abney was leaving.

on September 28th, we asked if Banks was really that bitter that Abney is leaving that he couldn’t mention that in the memo?

Well, Abney finally took to social media to confirm what FTVLive already told you a month ago. Oh, and unlike the GM, she took the high road.
