FTVLive has often posted video links to WFAA (Dallas) sportscaster Dale Hanson and his commentaries, often on social injustice and support for minorities and the gay community.

So, we were taken aback when he made comments during a crosstalk about how it is nice having women working in TV news, because they work for less money and that means more money for him.

Laughing and mocking the fact that women are on the losing end of the gender pay gap is not funny.

I thought Hanson was a guy that got it and to see him say something like this is very disappointing and makes me wonder if his progressive takes in the past, were simply and act and this is who he really is?

Women have been fighting for equal pay for generations and the fact that we are still not there yet is a huge disappointment.

I was a big fan of Dale Hanson and I’m sad to say, I’m not anymore.
