Abby Fridmann grew up in the Buffalo area and now she is headed back to anchor the news.

Fridmann is leaving the Nexstar station in Burlington, VT and headed to WIVB, the Nexstar station in Buffalo.

She replaces Shannon Smith who left the station after 3 years to go to WOIO in Cleveland.
