Under Contract
Word is that Marquee Broadcasting’s WNKY in Bowling Green is now asking their people in production to sign 2-3 year contracts.
Insiders tell FTVLive that this includes directors, audio operators, floor directors, editors, etc.
It seems the station has grown tired of the turnover and is trying to lock employees up for a longer period.
I can assure you that if a station wants to put you under a contract, it might not be good for you, but I can assure you that it is good for the station.
Is this happening at other stations as well?
