What the Hell is This?
Twice this week, Sinclair’s chief propagandist Eric Bolling has pinned a petition from a group no one has heard of to the top of his Twitter account.
The tweet directs to a petition from a group calling itself, “Protect Toll-Free” and it claims that, “a proposal before the FCC is threatening to take away the “Free” out of “Toll-Free Calls” – like 1-800 or 1-888, that offer critical resources to Americans, including crisis hotlines for suicide, addiction, and domestic violence.”
Sounds fine, but when is the last time anyone paid for a long-distance charge?
Aren’t basically all calls in the United States toll-free calls now?
Does someone want to tell Eric it’s 2020 now?
