This seems to be a bad month for news choppers.

FTVLive FIRST told you that WJAX/WFOX in Jacksonville was grounding their news chopper for budget reasons earlier this week.

Then yesterday, FTVLive told you that Scripps’ WCPO in Cincy was also pulling the plug on their news chopper in February.

Now sources tell FTVLive that the staff at Meredith’s KCTV (Kansas City) were told that the station is also grounding their news chopper.

Just this week, three days made the decision to stop using news choppers to enhance their coverage.
