After spending the last 10 days watching Hurricane Dorian spin in the Atlantic, I am hoping to get on a flight and leave town this morning.

I am set to leave this morning for San Antonio and RTDNA/NAHJ convention.

The problem? So many flights were canceled yesterday with Dorian passing by, the airport is going to be a complete zoo.

We still have some high winds sticking around the area and I’m not sure what that is going to do to the flight schedules, but I’m really hoping to get out of town.

I love Florida, but after all this I need a bit of a break from the Sunshine State.

The plan is for the FTVLive Intern to steer most of the ship on Friday, while I am living large in Texas. But, I’m sure I will chime in with a couple of stories as well.

If you are at RTDNA/NAHJ, I hope to run into you there, feel free to say Hi and I hope all of you enjoy the convention.

As for all of you still in the path of Dorian, I wish you well and please stay safe.
