The sad news came down yesterday that pioneering female journalist Cokie Roberts had died at the age of 75.

Roberts joined then an upstart NPR in 1978 and then later was a fixture at ABC News.

MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, that is still trying to drive down the road of relevance on 4 flat tires tweeted out his thoughts. First, he called Roberts “Cookie,” like she was some kind of Sesame Street Character and then he showed pictures of himself and Christiane Amanpour.

Guess all-white newswomen look the same.

Sharpton has since deleted the tweet.
