For smaller market stations, trying to keep talent gets hard and harder.

Stations are lucky if the people they hire make it to the end of their first contract before moving on.

Case in point, WVNS in Ghent, WV has lost both of their morning/noon anchors. News Anchor Katy Anderson as well as their morning/noon Weather Anchor Mike Slifer both announced they are leaving on their social media.
