You're The News Director...
I think by now you guys know how I fell about the Emmys and what they are worth?
Stations scream that they have no money and yet they will spend thousands and thousands of dollars to try and win a statue they will be handed out to thousands of other people.
Some people want an Emmy so bad, that they change their job title to try and win one.
George Davilas is the News Director at Tegna’s KPNX in Phoenix. Yet, Davilas listed his title as Producer on a number of the station’s Emmy entries in an effort to win one.

You’re the News Director, not the Producer…. how about taking just a small step back and letting your staff get some credit?
The Emmys are a money making venture that relies on the huge ego of TV people to pad its bank account.
