As Hurricane Dorian continues to make her way to the FTVLive World HQ, NOAA has been sending reconnaissance planes into the storm to get the latest information.

Yesterday, the recon plane that made the trip also made a little bit of history.

The flight featured the first all female three-pilot flight crew, featuring Capt. Kristie Twining, Cmdr. Rebecca Waddington, and Lt. Lindsey Norman.
