The day after CNN media reporter Brian Stelter got his panties all in a knot because ABC is using former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Dancing with the Stars and then Fox News hired Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a contributor, guess what his network did?

CNN hired ex-FBI official Andrew McCabe as a contributor.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Back in March of 2018, McCabe was fired by the FBI after a Justice Department inspector general's report found he had repeatedly misstated his involvement in a leak to The Wall Street Journal regarding an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

McCabe is suing the FBI for the firing.

Stelter made barely a mention of the hiring.

The bottom line is cable news often makes questionable hires, be it Fox News, CNN or MSNBC.

Cable news will continue to do this and maybe Brian Stelter, who is obsessed with everything Fox News, should stop throwing rocks from his glass house.

I never understood why cable news channels hire media critics, when they rarely if ever take shots at their own network?

Isn’t your job really just a glorified PR gig?
