FTVLive told you the very sad news about the death of WVUE (New Orleans) Anchor Nancy Parker.

While Parker’s family, friends and co-workers are dealing with the sudden death of Parker, WVUE’s GM Tim Ingram. released this statement.

“Nancy was absolutely a joy to work with each and every day”, Ingram said. “Today we lost a wonderful journalist and remarkable friend, the New Orleans television community lost a true treasure, but beyond that, her family lost a wife, a mother and daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”

Parker had been at the station for 23 years.
