CBS and Viacom are back together.

The CBS staff was told a short time ago that the merger with Viacom is official.

CBS boss Joe Ianniello sent an email to the CBS employee saying that “a new era” begins today.

Viacom and CBS split into two companies back in 2006.

The downfall of Les Moonves left the door open for the two companies to join back up and that is what has happened.
