KPNX (Phoenix) Morning Anchor Emma Jade says she is taking a step back from her morning-show duties at the station, but not stepping away completely.

Jade announced during yesterday’s newscast, "As you all know, I just had baby number three, and with the support of 12 News have decided to spend more time at home," she said on the morning show.

"As many of you know, being at home, it just seems impossible trying to find a balance between the two," she says. "But my incredible team here at 12 continues to surprise me with their unwavering support. You're still going to see me here delivering the news on the show every now and again."

"I'll be sure to keep you posted on social media," she says, "whether it's Facebook, Instagram — I will post before I come on."

Jade will appear on the show for the rest of this week before beginning the new schedule.

She did not respond to requests for comment.
