Moving Towards the Exit in Milwaukee
Longtime WISN (Milwaukee) Meteorologist Sally Severson says she is making a slow walk towards the exit and retirement.
Severson, who has been a Meteorologist on morning newscasts at the Hearst station since 1988, said that she is going to retire, but she will being doing so in phases.
Starting Aug. 26, Severson will leave the ABC affiliate's morning news team, while still doing the weather on WISN's 11 a.m. newscasts.
Lindsey Slater, WISN's weekend evening meteorologist, will take over Severson's morning shifts from 4:30 to 7 a.m. weekdays.
Severson said she is planning to retire altogether next year but didn't give an exit date.
