Back at The Lake
After a week gone from the station, as predicted, KSAZ Anchor Kari Lake returned to the station last night.
Lake took up her position alongside her co-anchor John Hook for both the 4PM and 9PM newscast on The Firm’s Phoenix station.
She did not apologize or mention her F-bomb episode.
Lake had been gone from the station since last Monday when FTVLive FIRST posted a story about her dropping an F-Bomb in studio as she was complaining to Hook that management made her delete reference to her Parler account on her station branded Twitter account.
Parler is a social media site that is preferred by Trump supporters and those on the hard right.
Lake posted the news to Twitter (and not Parler) that she was returning to the station yesterday:
Reaction to her return by her Twitter followers was mostly positive, but not completely:
One viewer offered Lake up some advice:
Lake long gave up trying to be an unbiased Journalist and now just lets her political views show through. It is always sad to watch a local station start to look like cable news, but the station is owned by Fox, so it should not be surprising.
It is sad that real Journalists at the station will be painted by the Kari Lake brush, but management is to blame for letting it happen.
But, Lake’s right wing leanings seem to work in the red state of Arizona and I guess that is all that station management seems to care about.
Journalism be damed.
