The All-Minnesotan Anchor Team
Sometimes to get the job, it helps to be a local boy/girl.
KBJR (Duluth) announced that their latest hire gives them something the other station’s don’t have.
The Quincy station announced that with the addition of Anchor Anthony Matt it makes KBJR the only local news station in the state of Minnesota with an entire evening team consisting of Minnesota natives.
“Anthony has built a reputation for fair and balanced reporting on major issues that our viewers expect and deserve. Viewers will still get that same quality journalism with Anthony’s transition to the anchor desk,” says KBJR News Director Kevin Jacobsen.
Matt grew up in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. He attended Inver Hills Community College and Middle Tennessee State University before graduating from St. Cloud State University with a bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism.
