Back on June 6th, FTVLive told you how KPNX Weather Anchor James Quinones weather posts, on social media looked suspiciously similar to the posts made by former KPNX Meteorologist Matt Pace.

After FTVLive’s story, Quinones went missing from KPNX’s air and we pointed that out in a story we did on June 19th.

Now, here we are in mid July and the station has finally come out and said that Quinones left the station “on June 7 to pursue other opportunities.”

In other words, the day after FTVLive’s first report.

Reached on Facebook Messenger, Quinones said, “I am no longer with 12 News. You know what they say. The only thing that’s consistent in this world is change.

He did not reply to a request for further comment.

The local paper in Phoenix finally picked up on the story and now that means the other TV websites can finally get around to doing the story.
