On Friday, FTVLive showed you the promo that Fox O&O WTTG is running to promote their 4PM newscast that starts next month.

Despite having a bad May book, WTTG is taking a shot at ratings leader WRC and saying they will be owning the 4PM time slot.

The promo says that “beginning on July 8, 4 will get owned by Fox 5.” Insiders say that the 4 that the station is referring to, is not 4PM, but it is WRC which is channel 4.

A number of WRC staffers scoffed at the promo and WRC News Director Mike Goldrick posted a tweet that seemed to kick some sand back in the face of bully WTTG:
