The Nexstar station in New Haven is a bit busy wiping the egg off their face after doing a story about a group that is making sure that children don’t go hungry this Summer.

In the story, WTNH interviewed a woman named Tammy Imre and her efforts to help feed some underprivileged kids this Summer.

All seemed well, until viewers started contacting the station and telling them that Tammy Imre is the same woman that was arrested for having repeated sexual contact with an 8 year old boy.

Back in 2005, Imre plead guilty to two counts of risk of injury to a minor. She said she believed she was in a believed “fantasy relationship” with her daughter’s 8-year-old playmate and admitted having repeated sexual contact with the boy.

She went to prison and was not heard from again, until she popped up on WTNH’s air being interviewed about FEEDING CHILDREN.

Ouch!

The station has since deleted the story, but not before FTVLive got a screenshot:
