KGO (San Francisco) Anchor Jessica Castro is calling it quits at the ABC O&O.

Castro posted the news to her Instagram that after 3 years she is looking to sleep in.

She writes in her post:

“After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to leave ABC7 News. Tomorrow will be my last day on air.

It wasn’t an easy decision because I’ve made some amazing friends and memories during my time in San Francisco.

I’m going to take some time seeing my family, traveling and adjusting to a normal sleep schedule! Yes! Sleep!

I will keep you posted on my next professional pursuit… when the time is right.

In the meantime, I hope you’ll continue to follow me across social media.

Thank you to all my colleagues who have become great friends! Thanks to the Bay Area for all the support these past 3 years!”
