The May cable news numbers are the same old story.

Fox News lead the way, MSNBC continues to be a strong second.

CNN is once again in dead last.

MSNBC is continuing to grow their audience. The NBC cable channel was the only cable news network to grow during dayside, up +8% in total viewers (vs. FOX News’ -2% and CNN’s -8%) compared to May 2018.

While MSNBC sits a long way behind Fox News, they continued to increase their lead of the dog network CNN.

MSNBC nearly doubled CNN in total viewers (912,000 vs. 553,000).

In dayside, MSNBC averaged 975,000 total viewers vs. CNN’s 654,000.

When it comes to primetime, the Trump cheering (Fox News) or the Trump Jeering (CNN and MSNBC) is growing old to viewers on both sides of the aisle. All three networks were off sharply with their primetime numbers.

It might be time to jump pff the Trump train and start talking about things.

PRIMETIME: 8-11PM/ET

FNC: 2,388,0000 total viewers – flat (377,000 in 25-54 – down 18%)
MSNBC: 1,654,000 total viewers – flat (242,000 in 25-54 – down 26%)
CNN: 761,000 total viewers – down 9% (185,000 in 25-54 – down 30%)

OH! I almost forgot…..

And yet Jeff Zucker still has a job.
