Weather and Sports
With Spring storms and big sports events, it is a good bet that stations are going to break into programing to give weather updates.
Viewers might hate it, but it is stations responsibility to keep the viewer informed.
But sometimes, stations need to use a little common sense when they start posting weather news.
During the Indianapolis 500, WLWT (Cincinnati) posted a severe thunder storm watch on the screen.
But, the station posted the information at the top of the screen, which blocked the Indy car speed information to viewers.
A simple fix would have been to move the weather watch to the bottom of the screen.
A TV station should never piss off viewers more than they have to.
