Sources tell FTVLive that Weatherman Sam Champion is returning to ABC to do morninng weather in New York.

But, Champion is not returning to Good Morning America.

Sources tell FTVLive that Champion will be the new morning Weather Anchor at WABC in New York.

When Champion joined GMA, he came from WABC and now he is headed back.

in 2013 Champion announced that he was leaving GMA to join NBC and The Weather Channel. It was a move that did not pay off at all and basically set Champion’s career backwards.

Now, he is going back to WABC to do Morning Weather.
