Exactly one month ago, FTVLive told you that disgraced Today Show Anchor Matt Lauer came out of hiding to attend the birthday party for CNN’s Jeff Zucker.

Since that day rumors have been growing louder and louder that Lauer would be joining the struggling cable news network.

The rumors got loud enough that Zucker had to address them to the staff at CNN.

In a town hall, a CNN staffer asked Zucker if he was going to bring Lauer into his band of misfits at CNN?

“There is absolutely no truth at all in the reports that Matt is coming to CNN,” Zucker said.

One CNN staffer says that like Donald Trump, he doesn’t believe anything that comes out of Zucker’s mouth.

So, could Lauer be headed to CNN?

Time will tell, be really, would his hiring really be any worse than all the other stuff Zucker has screwed up at that network?
