CNN host Don Lemon took time out from talking about how awful Donald Trump is to get engaged.

And his dogs helped.

Lemon wrote on social media, "He gave me a present on his birthday. How could I say no?" he said showing off both the couple's rings and the creative way his partner Tim Malone chose to propose -- with special dog tags around their two pets, Boomer and Barkley that read, "Daddy will you marry papa."
