Last week, FTVLive told you about KOAA (Colorado Springs) Meteorologist Jeff Matthews and how he likes to post his political views on his social media. He spent a lot of time attacking the “liberal” media and sharing his conservative views.

But, it was his attacks on the nursing industry that had viewers pushing back and after FTVLive’s story, he seems to be no longer with the station.

Matthews posted that the nurses of today and not very good in his experience. He slammed the entire nursing industry based on his personal experience in one room at one hospital.

After the blowback, Matthews tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube. But, it appears that it was too late.

His bio has been scrubbed from the station’s website and his social media pages have been deleted.

Our advice to him last week, was to stick to doing the weather and not insult people’s jobs or their political leanings.

It appears that his bosses at KOAA agreed.
