KSDK’s Chief Meteorologist Craig Moeller has left the Tegna station and has left some staffers scratching their heads.

KSDK General Manager Alicia Elsner announced to the staff that Moeller was returning to his old station WVEC (Norfolk) for a "great opportunity."

Here is a look at the bio page for Moeller that was on the KSDK website:

When he was hired in St. Louis he said, "To have grown up watching KSDK and now being invited to lead their weather team, it just feels like such an amazing opportunity."

But now, he’s headed back to his old station where he had spent nearly 20 years.

Guess the “dream job” was not so great after all?

KSDK has gone from first to worst in the ratings and the “Tegna style” of news has been nothing but a bust by the Mississippi.

You can bet that Moeller will be replaced by someone younger and cheaper, because that is also the Tegna way.
