Headed to Salt Lake
KNXV (Phoenix) Anchor Dan Spindle was demoted by the Scripps station from weekdays to weekends.
Spindle, who spent 6 years at the station, didn’t get angry, he just got to work finding a new job.
And he has done just that. Spindle is headed to Salt Lake City to work at KSL as a morning and noon anchor.
"It was time to move on," Spindle said Monday during a stop while driving to his new job. "I'm excited to stay in the news business that I love. As long as I can make a living as a storyteller, I’ll keep trying."
While he’s leaving Arizona, he plans on returning. "My wife was born and raised in Arizona and my five children were born and raised here, so it's going to be a huge change," he said. "So we'll be coming back as often as we can to visit family and friends."
This shows, if you are not happy at work, don’t bitch, don’t complain, just go find another job and move on.
