The people at Tegna’s WCNC (Charlotte) are whispering that Tegna might be looking to sell the station.

There is no official word from Tegna and it just appears to be one of those rumors that has been going around the newsroom.

Former WCNC Investigative Reporter Stuart Watson is using his Twitter account to help stir the pot.

One WCNC staffer said to FTVLive, “God I hope it’s true, nobody can be worst than Tegna…”

Oh believe me friend, it can get a lot worse.
