Apple is holding an event today at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

It is expected that they will talk about the launch of their streaming TV service and what it will offer?

Apple is often late to the game, but many times they offer up a better product. Apple was not first with a streaming music device, but the iPod was close to perfection. They were not first with a smart phone, but the iPhone was the best. They were not first with a tablet, but the iPad is now the most popular.

So, will they knock it out of the park with streaming TV?

That remains to be seen.

I stream my music using Amazon, Apple showed up to the game later and now offers streaming music as well, but it was not better enough to get me to switch from Amazon over to Apple.

Will their streaming TV be good enough to get me to leave Netflix and DirectNow?

Time will tell.

I’m a big Apple fan, but Apple still needs to win me over to get me to switch.
