WMGT (Macon) did a story about the county commission considering a change in motel taxes.

OK, no big deal there, except the station used a photo of the Lorraine Motel in web posted story about the change.

In case you failed history in high school, the you know the Lorraine Motel is not in Macon, it’s in Memphis and it is where Martin Luther King was assassinated.

Oh! It’s also Black History Month.

More than a few people called out the station for their hotel choice. The station changed the picture, but did not offer up an apology.
