Shuffling into Buffalo
Struggling Scripps station WKBW (Buffalo) has hired a new MMJ.
The station announced that it has hired Ala Errebhi from KTTC in Rochester, Minn.
“Before coming to Buffalo, Ala was working as a journalist in Minnesota, so she isn’t intimidated by our winters and she has the boots to prove it,” WKBW News Director Rob Heverling said. “From day one she was speaking up in our editorial meetings. She is excited to be here. You can tell she’s determined to immerse herself in Western New York.”
“Ala brings a diverse perspective to the newsroom and her enthusiasm is contagious,” WKBW General Manager Michael Nurse added.
Errebhi has dual citizenship as a Tunisian and U.S. citizen, speaks fluent Arabic and has German and Korean language skills.
Yeah but can she pronounce the Scajaquada expressway that runs through Buffalo and the suburbs of Tonawanda and Cheektowaga?
Just saying…
