Scripps KNXV reports that Weekend Anchor/Reporter Marc Thompson was injured when he was hit by a car in Scottsdale.

The driver who hit Thompson stopped and a number of witnesses also helped until paramedics arrived.

The station reports that Thompson is still hospitalized but is expected to fully recover.
