The CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell finally did their show from Washington, DC debuting their new set.

The set looked fine, although we’re still not sure why it took months and months to build?

And since it was a “new era” at CBS News as O'Donnell said, that means cupcakes were served.

Damn….TV news people sure do like cake:

CBS News Producer Mary Walsh tweeted about the cupcake and told viewers “prepare to be amazed.”

We watch a few minutes and sadly, we were not “amazed” and we also didn’t get a cupcake.

That sucks!
