FTVLive has been telling you how Nexstar has been driving the pink slip express around the country to the recent Tribune stations that they purchased and have been laying people off.

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Nexstar has whacked people at KDVR/KGWN (Denver), KFOR (OKC), WXIN/WTTV (Indy), WGHP (Greensboro), WHO (Des Moines) and WHNT (Huntsville).

Well, WDAF in Kansas City, come on down, you’re the next to play whack-a-mole Nexstar style.

Word is that the company cut 3 people on the desk, 5 or so production assistants and AM Editor that has been there for years and maybe a few others.

Also, sources tell FTVLive that Reporter Ashonti Ford who just joined the station in August is also gone from the station. But, her parting happened late last month before the layoffs.
