We head to the Magic City for the 4th best station on our list and this one is another Hearst station.

Just off of I-4 you will find WESH in Orlando and they come in at No. 4.

Orlando is in the heart of Florida and you get to cover all those “Florida Man” stories that happen only in the Sunshine State.

When it comes to Weather, it does get much better and if you can’t find something to do in Orlando on your days off, you have something wrong with you.

WESH is often second in the ratings behind WFTV (also a good station). The other station in the market is Graham’s WKMG, which makes Orlando one of the best markets when it comes to ownership groups.

The only dog station in the market and the one you want to stay away from is Fox O&O WOFL, which has been a train-wreck over the years.

WESH puts a strong focus on news, has all the toys (i.e helicopter and more) and is a good station to work for.

The only disadvantage to living and working in Orlando. Your family and friends from up North will want to come to visit you in the cold winter months. They will also expect you to not only offer up free housing but get them free tickets to Disney and Universal as well.
