WTXF Fox Philly Anchor Jason Martinez was a flat out bully to a woman on social media.

The woman is Lizzie Velasquez, a national motivational speaker that is dealing with a rare disease.

Velasquez was born with the disease that does not allow her to gain weight. She has dealt with the sideways looks and the inappropriate awful comments her entire life. She has been bullied over and over again and shows just how strong she is.

She posted a story to social media and the Fox Philly anchor responded with this in a DM that he was likely not trying to send to Velasquez, but did anyway.

It was nothing that Velasquez has not dealt with before, but it is likely that she might not have expected from a Fox O&O Anchor in the 4th market.

But, Velasquez stayed on the high road and responded like she has so many times before.

After screwing up and sending the nasty DM, Martinez tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

He promises to “be better” only after he got called out.

You would hope that Fox, which is supposed to “be better” after the entire Roger Ailes fallout would address this with Martinez, but we won’t hold our breath.
