We keep hearing how TV newsrooms are stretched so thin, that getting the news on the air is a challenge.

That does not seem to be the case at Meredith KCTV in Kansas City.

The station has cleaned out the studio to make way for a new news set. With all that extra room In the studio, a large number of the staff decided to use the space to play a game of dodgeball.

Not only did the staff play dodgeball, but other staffers acted as announcers to the match and a Photographer was brought in to shoot the dodgeball game.

It was then aired on the station as a news story (No Really It Was!).

Dust off the shelf, I smell and Emmy.

Also, is there not any real news happening in KC?
