When you have wildfires raging out of control, many viewers tune to the local TV news for the latest potentially life saving information.

So, when a station gives confusing information, it can really mean a difference between life and death.

Nexstar’s KTLA had this graphic on the screen for quite some time:

You would have thought that someone in the booth, or in the newsroom would have caught the mistake.

Look at the map below, where we dropped a pin on Mandeville Canyon. It clearly shows that Mandeville Canyon is WEST of The 405 and that The 405 is on the EAST.

In other words the station’s information was backwards.

This is the 2nd market and shit like this should not happen and if it does, it should be quickly corrected.

That did not happen in this case.
