MSNBC Hires Ms. Millennial
MSNBC announced that they have hired Alicia Menendez as a new Weekend Anchor.
“Alicia has a smart and unique voice,” said Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC. “I’ve watched her for years. We’re thrilled to add her to our lineup at such an exciting time.”
In the press release that MSNBC sent us, they said this about Menendez: Alicia Menendez is an MSNBC anchor and host of the Latina to Latina podcast. Dubbed “Ms. Millennial” by The Washington Post, “journalism’s new gladiator” by Elle, and a “content queen” by Marie Claire, her interviews and reporting have appeared on ABC News, Bustle, FusionTV, PBS and Vice News. Her first book, "The Likeability Trap" will be published this November.
She is also the daughter of Senator Bob Menendez, which MSNBC did not mention in their press release.
You might be shocked to know that Senator Menendez is a Democrat.
