The Revolving Door at Tegna's St. Louis Station
Viewers should not get too attached to the talent on Tegna’s KSDK in St. Louis, because they don’t seem to stick around very long.
The St. Louis station has struggled since it was Tegnafied and has been bleeding talent.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch says that 9 people have left the station and 6 others have joined recently.
Weekend Anchor/Reporter Jenn Sullivan has parted ways with the station after making it just over a year and a half. For a short time before she left, Sullivan was co-anchoring the morning show on weekends with Kelly Jackson.
Sullivan became expendable when KSDK hired Savannah Louie in early September and installed her in Sullivan's chair as the 4 a.m. anchor of the morning show, "Today in St. Louis."
Investigative Reporter Jacob Long left the station last week.
Sullivan and Long join at least seven others who have left the KSDK building in the last seven months: Lead meteorologist Craig Moeller and fellow cloudwatcher Jessica Quick; reporters Rico Bush, Brittney Verner and Rachel Menitoff; sports reporter Josh Hellmuth; and anchor Christina Coleman.
Also, meteorologist Chester Lampkin will be leaving before the end of the year to take a job at Tegna’s Washington D.C. station WUSA.
